Haag's industry changing HCI-Residential Roofs program is now available to qualified individuals online for the first time!
The Haag Certified Inspector - Residential Roofs program is designed to make you highly proficient with all major types of residential (steep-slope) roofs. Youāll learn how hail and wind interact with roofing, inspection safety techniques, roof area calculations, and applicable codes. Youāll also gain comprehensive understanding of manufacture, installation, weathering, hail damage, wind damage, maintenance, mechanical damage, and repair costs for each major roofing type ā composition, wood shingle/shake, concrete and clay tile, asbestos, fiber cement, and various synthetic, slate, and metal roofing types. Real-world case studies make the information vivid and memorable.
Completing this course will make you a more accurate, fast and confident roof inspector of steep slope/residential roofs!
Please note that this course does require the student must have inspected a minimum of 100 sloped roofs to participate. You will be asked to verify experience and provide references who can also vouch for your experience upon registration. Haag does perform random experience verification audits.
A live, online proctored exam will be administered at the completion of the course. This will require a computer equipped with a webcam and proper system minimum requirements. You have up to 4 hours to complete it and must pass with a minimum score of 70% to finalize your certification. If you score below 70% on your 1st attempt, you will only be allowed one retake exam.
This webinar comes with a free digital version of the course textbook. The digital book is printable and may be used on the exam in digital or printed out format.
