Low-Slope Roof Basics (1 hr) introduces participants to the basic components of todayās low slope roofing assemblies. Various types of membranes, insulation and decking are covered, as well as the proper methods for flashing appurtenances. At the conclusion of this course, the participant will be able to: identify the components involved in the construction of low-slope roofing assemblies; identify types of membranes and advantages of each; differentiate between various types of insulation and their characteristics; and differentiate between proper and improper installation of appurtenances.
