The growing popularity of metal roofs ensures that more and more industry professionals will need to understand the life-cycle of metal roofing systems ā€” from their manufacture to their eventual repair or replacement, and everything in-between.  Due to the wide variety of panels and systems that may be used on both commercial and residential buildings, metal roofs present unique and exciting challenges in all areas, including damage assessment.  Haag engineers created Metal Roofs Damage Assessment (2 Hr) to introduce you to the basic components of todayā€™s metal roofing systems, alerting you to problems that can arise during manufacture and installation and providing a basic overview of maintenance and repairs.  The course further addresses the identifying characteristics of hail, wind and mechanical damage. If you are taking the class for CE credit, section quizzes and a final exam are required to complete the course.
