Composition Roofing Damage Assessment
Haag's Composition Roofing course focuses on assessing various types of damage to comp roofs. Attendees will learn how to distinguish between weathering-caused deterioration and storm-caused damage to roofing products. They will also learn how to identify mechanically-inflicted damage. Roof inspection and assessment techniques, service life expectations, and proper roof repair methods also will be discussed.
Tile Roof Damage Assessment
This course details the characteristics of, and differences between, damage caused by improper installations, weathering and age, hail and wind, and mechanical impact on tile roofing. This course also features an invaluable discussion on identifying and repairing hurricane damage. Specific information on the Florida Building Code will also be presented where applicable.
Metal Roof Damage Assessment
This course focuses on damage assessment of metal roofs. Manufacture, installation, various types and profiles, coatings, weathering, and damage types are discussed. This photo-rich presentation will aid inspectors in distinguishing naturally occurring damage from damage due to other causes.
