Residential Hurricane Preparedness
Residential Hurricane Preparedness is a new course from Haag which focuses on readying a home or structure for an approaching hurricane. This course deals specifically with the correct ways to protect vulnerable areas of your structure in order to minimize damage from wind. Small things, like correctly covering windows, changing screws in exterior doors or bracing garage doors, can make the difference between minimal and extensive damage. Addressing surrounding site conditions for hazards is also included in this preparedness plan as well wind shelter rooms within the house.
